Anybody out there running Ford and Chrysler's J2534 apps on the same PC? Just wondering if it will cause problems to have 2 J2534 servers running on the same machine. Maybe I could disable the one not in use.
I have GM's Tech II, I have Chysler's J app running on my Windows XP Toughbook. I would like to run Ford's app on it as well.
I do have another old Windows XP laptop that I could use, it is not a Toughbook however.

Crap, I'll have to use my office desktop. The problem is that my USB cable is not long enough. Maybe WalMart has a longer one.

To avoid application conflicts, I've found it best to have each manufacturer on a separate virtual machine. It's time consuming to setup, but I can ensure that any faults won't be the result of a conflict between drivers/registry/etc.
